Inheritance Tax Benefits

Alloway Railway Tunnel ART is a Scottish registered charity. Gifts to charities in your Will are exempt from Inheritance Tax (IHT), so your legacy goes entirely towards our charitable work.

In addition, leaving at least 10% of your estate to charity may reduce the rate of IHT on the remainder of your estate from 40% to 36%, potentially lowering the overall tax payable.
